Facebook has activated its Safety Check feature following a series of explosions in the Belgian capital this morning. Users of the social network should log in and click here to access the feature.
At least 21 people were killed and many more were injured after bombs went off at Zaventem Airport and Maelbeek Metro station.
The Facebook feature allows people to mark themselves as “safe” and see if friends or family are in the effected area.
The Safety Check feature was first rolled out in Paris following the series of coordinated attacks on the French capital in November.
