Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan are expecting a baby girl.
The social media site co-founder took to Facebook – obvs – to announce the exciting news. And Zuckerberg also received some personal details – they have been trying for a baby and have sadly suffered three miscarriages in the past two years.
The 31-year-old said: “Most people don’t discuss miscarriages because you worry your problems will distance you or reflect upon you — as if you’re defective or did something to cause this. So you struggle on your own.
“It’s a lonely experience.
“In today’s open and connected world, discussing these issues doesn’t distance us; it brings us together. It creates understanding and tolerance, and it gives us hope.
“We hope that sharing our experience will give more people the same hope we felt and will help more people feel comfortable sharing their stories as well.”
We can’t wait to see the updates on baby Zuck on Facebook! They haven’t revealed the due date yet.
