Remember Google Glass? Well, it’s back with a new design aimed at business customers.
Pictures of the long-awaited, long-rumoured second-generation smart glasses appeared on the internet in FFC filings published today.
Based on the original Glass headset, the familiar-looking device is equipped with a glass prism but is foldable so that it can be put in your pocket like a pair of regular glasses.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the prism is now larger and said to expand the field of view of Glass’ floating display.
The device will also be waterproof and more durable so it can withstand falls and other physical damage on factory floors and other workplace environments.
Google has yet to confirm the device’s existence, but we’ll all be waiting eagerly for when it does.
