Franky Zapata is the creator of those flyboards you’ve probably seen celebs using at holiday resorts, which have water jetpacks to propel people above the water.
But with the Flyboard Air, things appear to have got even more exciting.
In the clip, it doesn’t look like the hoverboard is attached to anything else – and yet Zapata seems to be happily moving along, looking down on the lake.
In the description of the video on YouTube, Zapata Racing say the Flyboard has broken records – they claim it can fly autonomously up to 10,000 feet for up to 10 minutes. Oh, and apparently it can reach speeds of 93.2 miles per hour.
Hold back that excitement though – this is only a prototype and it won’t be released in 2016.
And, of course, there are sceptics out there. They’ve pointed out that in the video you can’t actually see Zapata taking off…
But hey, who knows – maybe one day in the future we’ll all be travelling to work like this.
