Google’s latest venture could save us all a lot of fiddling about with our thumbs. The Gboard integrates Google search, gifs and more into your keyboard, making it possible to search and send information without switching apps.

So if you’re arranging to meet someone at a restaurant, instead of closing your messages, searching for the restaurant in Google and copying the address, all you need to do now is hit the little G button. From there, you can use the search keyboard without closing your messaging app.

See it in action below:

You can also search emojis and use Glide Typing to send messages without so much as lifting your finger off your phone screen. Oh, and you can now send gifs. Lots and lots of gifs.

The GBoard is available now in US English for iOs, with more languages coming soon. Google have confirmed that an Android version is in the works.
