Two of the most powerful forces in the world, Google and Disney, have come together to promote the other Force.

Visitors to google.com/starwars can now choose between the Dark Side and the Light Side, with the decision personalising your Google account in various ways.

The choice you make will now directly affect your Google profile and associated apps in a range of ways. For example, install the suggested Chrome extension, and each time you open a new tab you get a very cool The Force Awakens image.

The decision also adds a colour scheme to your Google profile picture and, just like Anakin Skywalker, you can change sides as many times as you want to.

That menu screen also offers quick links to all the apps that have features included, which is pretty much the entire Google apps suite.
