Google Maps on Android is about to get a little smarter as a new feature is being rolled out that will enable users to enter multiple destinations for one journey.
Now, when users open the app and then use the search function to find a location, a new feature called ‘Add Stop’ appears under the option button in the top right corner.
This enables users to add waypoints to a journey – as many as you need – before ending up at your destination.
The feature has previously only been available in the web version of the app, but never on mobile. As a result travel in foreign cities could become a lot easier if you’re planning a day full of stops.
There’s no word yet on when the feature will be pushed out to a wider audience.
