Finding new ways to get kids learning with different parts of technology remains an everyday challenge for many of the big tech companies – now Google is using a 500ft-tall Yeti.
The technology giant has created a new app called Verne: The Himalayas, which uses Google’s 3D mapping technology and an animated Yeti called Verne to open up the mountain range to kids who want to learn more.
It’s good timing with the summer holidays under way, though the app is only available to Android customers for now via the Google Play Store.
