The world’s first driverless, automatic racing car raced its debut lap at Donington Park.

The DevBot prototype tested the technology behind autonomous racecars before Roborace, a driverless racing contest hoping to be launched in the upcoming months.

Designed by Daniel Simon – who is known for his work on Tron:Legacy,Oblivion, Prometheus, Captain America – the autonomous electric-powered car requires no human control whatsoever.
