There’s plenty to see on the world’s largest cruise ship Harmony of the Seas, which recently docked in Southampton, but possibly the most exciting attraction of all is its bionic bar.

Created by Makr Shakr, the bar has taken to the sea for the first time onboard this cruise ship.

Customers can place their orders using a specially-designed tablet app. Starting with an empty glass, they can choose from more than 30 different spirits and 20 mixers.

The order then comes through to the robots, who make the drink. The two robots can muddle, shake, stir and strain the drinks, and you can keep track of your order via a large screen.

The creators of the bar teamed up with Italian dancer Roberto Bolle using motion capture to replicate his graceful movements.
