Tonight marks the latest round of Apple financial results, which means hearing the insane amount of iPhones the company has sold in the previous year.
These results will also include the last few months of 2015, rounding off the year for the tech giant.
So, how is Apple looking for breaking through their own iPhone glass ceiling?
As you can see, 36 million more iPhone sales would be enough to make it the biggest year ever for iPhone – a number well within the company’s grasp considering this time last year they sold around 70 million in the same period.
That was a history-making quarter perhaps unlikely to be repeated – the firm made the most profit (over £11 billion) in one quarter than any private company ever. But the iPhone 6s, which was released in September and will be the bulk of these figures, should have done more than enough.
On the subject of money, Apple is close to a best ever revenue year too.
$17 million should be knocked off with little trouble, so expect some back-slapping in Cupertino once the results are announced.
