KFC’s iconic mascot Colonel Sanders is set to feature in the latest WWE wrestling game.
WWE and KFC have a deal which sees the fast-food chicken joint advertised during their events, with Shawn Michaels previously having donned Sanders’ white suit.
Kurt Angle was on hand to announce the news at an ad that played during the franchise’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, becoming the latest WWE superstar to dress up as the Colonel over recent months.
It’s definitely weird, but it’s not quite as weird as it seems, with users still needing to access WWE 2K18’s Create-A-Superstar mode to essentially unlock the Colonel.
And when that recognisable white hair and suit pop up on screen, it will immediately become obvious who this year’s secret character is.
Here’s to hoping he’s as good as he was during this ad.
