Thanks to Tim Peake, some parts of the International Space Station are a little more familiar for those of us not among the 200 or so people who have set foot on the station.
However, Nasa has now created something to get us all closer to the experience of being on-board – a 4K definition video that gives a complete tour of the craft.
The 18-minute video was shot using a fisheye lens, designed to offer more focus and depth to the pictures, meaning the footage looks stunning.
Of course filming in 4K helps. This is ultra high definition, with picture quality double that of HD.
The video tour takes in the Cupola – the 360-degree observation point where many a photo of Earth has been captured by astronauts and posted to Twitter – before moving through other parts of the station.
Also keep an eye out for the Utility Module, where mission patches from visiting astronauts have been attached to the wall.
