Among the news of Toy Story and new theme parks at Disney’s D23 expo was a new trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II’s story mode.
The first-person shooter is introducing a single player campaign for the first time in the sequel, one that also has the unique perspective of taking place from the Imperial side of the war for the galaxy.
The game, which is due to launch in November, will feature characters and settings across all three of the Star Wars universe eras.
The introduction of a single player story follows some criticism of the previous version of the game – which was commended for its recreation of settings such as frozen planet Hoth, but many felt lacked mission variety to keep players coming back.
Those too impatient to wait can also pre-order the new game and get access to play three days before it goes on-sale on November 17.
