The line between video games and reality has just become a little more blurred as a weapon from the Warhammer 40,000 series has been recreated in real life.

Working with Sega and Relic, production firm Rewind and the University of Warwick have created a 3D-printed working version of the Space Marine Power Fist – the pneumatic fist that helps Space Marines crush opponents in the hugely popular real-time strategy series.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War III, which is out on April 27, the working version has been put to the test against some more everyday objects.

We were even allowed to try it out ourselves, complete with the full harness required to support the weight of the two air canisters that are used to power the destructive weapon.

Plant pots the world over, beware.
