The Samsung Galaxy S7 rumour mill has sprung into life, with reports suggesting the next flagship Samsung will come with a pressure-sensitive screen – much like the current iPhone 6s.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the ability to press the smartphone’s screen with varying amounts of force to get different results is expected to be introduced on the so-called S7, which is due to be announced in March, should it follow traditional Samsung launch cycles.
The report suggests the phone will look similar to this year’s Galaxy S6, with an Edge version – complete with a curved screen – as well as expandable storage, something Samsung did away with in this year’s S6.
There have also been rumours online that the device will have a USB-C connection port and the ability to fast-charge and even the possibility of a retina scanner.
Multiple supposed versions of the upcoming device have appeared online in recent days, with some reports that the size could even sneak into the 6-inch bracket, making it one of the largest smartphones around.
Of course, all of this should be taken with a pinch of salt for now – this is very much the early stages of the rumour mill.
