If you’re lucky enough to own a Tesla Model S, we have news that will make your life even better than it surely already is.
All 30 million tracks on Spotify are now available to stream directly through Tesla’s in-car media player for all Model S owners in Europe, Australia and Hong Kong.
And even if you’re a subscriber to a different streaming service, it doesn’t matter – Spotify Premium is provided by Tesla as a benefit to people who own the car, without them even needing a Spotify account.
Tesla cars operate slightly differently to other manufacturers in that rather than having to wait for a new model to come out, the electric car manufacturer can add new features to a customer’s car with software updates – much like a smart phone. So even those who bought a Model S when they first came out in 2012 will be able to enjoy all that music.
