The development company behind the Final Fantasy series has released the first teaser to a brand new game that’s caused a lot of excitement.
Left Alive was announced by Square Enix at PlayStation’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference and is heading to PlayStation 4 and Steam in 2018.
The game has been described as a “survival action shooter” and has some heavy-hitters on board to help with it.
The Japanese company’s latest game features character designs by none other than Yoji Shinkawa – the man behind the Metal Gear series’ famed aesthetic.
Also on board are veteran developers Toshifumi Nabeshima, director of the Armored Core series, and Takayuki Yanase – mechanical engineer of Ghost In The Shell: Arise and Xenoblade Chronicles X, who will “join forces to create Left Alive’s dark and gritty world”.
Details are thin but people’s interest is already piqued.
The game is scheduled for a 2018 release.
