In a boost for childhood nostalgia a gaming comeback for everyone’s favourite New York-based, crime-fighting turtles has been confirmed.
Activision, the guys behind Destiny and Call of Duty, have announced they’re working on a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game with Nickelodeon and developer PlatinumGames.

The third-person action game appears to have taken some artistic inspiration from comic books and will enable players to go through a single-player campaign or co-op with three friends online.
It’ll be on a clean sweep of consoles, too, with compatibility for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and 4 confirmed in addition to PC. As the trailer suggests, the launch is pencilled in for the summer, with nothing more specific known just yet.
