No matter how engrossed you are with your WhatsApp group chat, sometimes typing on a smartphone still isn’t as intuitive as it could be.
Trying to move the cursor back and forth to correct a mistake or add in more text can be one of the most fiddly tasks, but it appears Apple has noticed this too.
With little fanfare, Apple appears to have added a feature to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that enables users of those phones to replicate a mouse cursor by using the pressure-sensitive 3D Touch screen.
It works by pressing and holding on the keyboard, this will see the letters disappear from the keys, with users now able to drag their finger across the screen – like they would a trackpad – to move the cursor within the text.

However, since this feature requires 3D Touch in order to work, it means that only those with 6s or 6s Plus are able to make use of it for now.
