There’s nothing more we love in life than scrolling through the Instagram feeds of our favourite stars after a long and tiresome day, and 2015 has brought some pretty golden photos into our lives.
Last year the world went crazy for the snap of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, a Justin Bieber selfie and photo of Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande’s antics – but which photos managed to rack up the most likes in the last 12 months?
In no particular order, here are the most popular photos on Instagram of 2015 … and brace yourself, because there’s a whole lotta Taylor Swift ahead of you.

Coming from a family that constantly hogs the limelight, it’s somewhat unsurprising the most-liked photo of the year belongs to Kendall Jenner. If that victory wasn’t sweet enough, the model stole the title from her big sister Kim Kardashian, whose wedding photo was Instagram’s most popular with 2.4 million likes … until Kendall’s heart-shaped hair came along.

We’ll never quite forget that Kanye West incident, in which he stormed on stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to interrupt Taylor Swift’s award acceptance speech. Still, the awkward moment is a thing of the past for the pair – just look at the huge bouquet of roses the rapper sent Taylor after she presented him with the MTV Video Vanguard Award this year.

When Beyonce shared a Flashback Friday snap from a 2013 Vogue photoshoot, we just couldn’t help but hit the heart button. The combination of an adorable Blue Ivy and the fierce Queen Bey was enough to propel the shot into Instagram’s top 10 of 2015.
