As 2016 rapidly approaches, YouTube has looked back over the last year and flagged up the videos which trended the most in the UK.
The list shows there have been some changes in trends over the year, with the top 10 now featuring four clips from TV shows – in previous years, there’s usually been just one of this type.

James Corden has had a number of celebs singing along to tracks in his car while he drives round LA for The Late Late Show, but it was his karaoke session with Justin Bieber that proved the most popular with YouTube viewers. The video of the Baby singer singing Baby has over 43,073,000 views.
It’s not long now until the hotly anticipated release of the new film – and it seems the trailers have been keeping a lot of us occupied for the time being. This second teaser has over 71,3325 views.
A video bound to excite the inner child in any of us. This prank video, where a woman comes home to find her husband and kids have turned their lounge into a giant ball pool, has been watched over 55,906,000 times.
It’s the song we love to hate and hate to love. In this video, a real life Queen Elsa sings and shoots ice out of her actual hands (sort of) and it got a lot of people watching – over 95,261,000 times.
This jam-packed advert – featuring gameplay clips, superstar footballers and an operatic singer dressed as a viking – has been watched over 13,884,000 times.
One vlogger decided to make herself and some family members look like the characters from the Disney Pixar film – and the result clearly hit the mark with viewers. This make-up tutorial has over 66,985,000 views.
Celebrities miming along to songs we all love is a winning combination – and this particular battle on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with the actor comedians Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart did not disappoint. It’s been watched more than 54,036,000 times.
Yep, this is just as ridiculous as it sounds. A 6ft man climbs into a 6ft water balloon and the inevitable burst is filmed in painfully but hilariously slow-motion. The brilliant video’s been watched more than 40,210,000 times.
Another BGT entry was from nine-year-old Jesse from Ireland, who came onto the stage looking cute and quiet then transformed into an actual ninja with her impressive karate display. There are more than 30,109,000 views on this vid.
