Mobile World Congress, like any technology trade show, is a weird and wonderful place of people, products and a few other things that are a little harder to explain.
It’s supposed to be a glimpse into the future, and a discussion about what it means, but most of the time it becomes more a showcase of the human love of moaning, with a splash of sarcasm.
Twitter expressed the cluster of emotions brilliantly. There was some excitement about innovation.
But that was lost when some products started playing fancy dress.
That’s the LG Rolling Bot dressed up as a rabbit by the way. It’s supposed to keep an eye on your pets, not necessarily become them.
There was some excitement too about the food, and rightly so. The food court serves up some impressive three course dishes to keep angry attendees energised.
But this was offset by bitterness about the WiFi.

And the fact that not only does Barcelona not have Uber, but the Metro drivers were on strike on Monday as well.
There was still one other bright spot though – having gotten very excited about Mark Zuckerberg’s surprise appearance at the Samsung event on Sunday, another big name revealed he would be making an appearance at MWC too.
The Formula One world champion has attended the first pre-season testing of 2016, which also just happens to be taking place in Barcelona. Maybe he’ll try some VR while he’s here.
