Watching tiny videos on your wrist may not seem like an obvious thing you want to do, but Twitter’s Vine app has just updated to do just that – adding Vine compatibility with the Apple Watch.
An update to Vine now means a Watch version of the app is available, so users can keep an eye on their Vine timeline from their wrist as well as on desktop and mobile.
Not only that, but Vine supports the Apple Watch Complications feature, which means you can add a Vine option to your Watch face – the front screen of the Watch.
It means you can keep track of the number of Loops your Vines have received, which is perhaps slightly excessive when it comes to monitoring your account, but the social media hounds out there will probably love it.
As well as the Apple Watch update, Vine also confirmed the push of a new recommendations feature to wider audiences. This enables users to swipe left to see more Vines recommended for them based on what they’ve watched in the past, and who they follow.
The Twitter-owned service was first seen on the Apple Watch during the iPhone maker’s WWDC developer conference back in June, so this update has been in the works for a while.
