Google’s answer to FaceTime, Duo, is now available. It’ll work on both iPhone and Android, making it possible to call friends on different operating systems.
It’s not very different to FaceTime in format, so not too much to get excited about – but it does have a few neat features.
Knock Knock enables the user to see a preview of who is calling them before they pick up – not sure why you would need that, but there you go.
A handier feature is that you can block people and they won’t know about it. Tired of Granny trying to see your face every day? You can block her without feeling too ruthless.
