It’s very nearly time to say goodbye to your social life and indeed the outside world in general – because Football Manager 2016 has been confirmed for November 13.
Not only that, but the football management simulator’s official Instagram account has been posting some preview videos of the new features that have been added this year.
So far, the focus has been on the visual side of the game.
So there’s more detail, progressive changes to stadiums, but also the chance to create a full version of your managerial self, ready for the touchline.
Player injuries are going to become more obvious too – with lots more dramatic (and sadly realistic) rolling around and complaining from players.
Developer Sports Interactive also showed off some of the more than 2,000 new animations that are being added to this year’s game, including the ‘Rabona’ – AKA ‘I can’t cross with my left foot’.
The mobile version as well as a touch version for hybrid laptops are also back again this year for smartphone, tablet, PC and Mac users.
And don’t forget, it’s fine to put a suit on if you make a cup final.
