You can now have Clarkson, Hammond and May as your alarm thanks to Amazon Echo

Their new Amazon exclusive show, The Grand Tour, makes its debut later this month, and in a clever piece of promotion Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have launched an alarm clock for the Amazon Echo.

The smart home hub, which is controlled by voice and can play music, answer questions, give you news updates and control smart appliances around the home, can also be used to set an alarm each night.

Now, owners can switch their desired alarm sound from with the Echo’s companion app to a wake-up message from the trio.

As you can hear it’s Clarkson at his subtle best.

If you do want to be woken up by it, the feature can be found in the Timers and Alarms section of the Alexa companion app.
