Hoverboards have quite a bad reputation – but that is perhaps unsurprising given the well-documented fires and small explosions they’ve been seen to cause, as well as the bans levelled against them by everyone from Amazon to tech trade show CES.

But one YouTuber has taken it upon himself to calm the storm surrounding the devices and disguised his as a flying cloud from Japanese anime franchise Dragon Ball.

Dressed up as Goku, one of the characters from the show, Taiwanese YouTuber Yes Ranger looks the part, without giving away the fact that what’s actually propelling him is public enemy number one in the technology world.

Having said that, the cloud looks a bit beaten up by the end of the video and that amount of possibly flammable material close to a hoverboard can’t be a good thing either.
